Hi All...
me tried to installed kdm on ubuntu9.10 and set as defaul GUI desktop environment.but it cant load it, now me want come back to gdm as default. cant enter in to consolealso.me need least console.how can make gnome as default desktop environment on ubuntu9.10,( using live cd...)

on live cd go to the partition where you installed your ubuntu, then edit the file default-display-manager using gedit /etc/X11/default-display-manager
then change the line /usr/sbin/kdm to /usr/bin/gdm
thats all..........
